Bilal Khan is a pop singer/songwriter from Lahore, Pakistan. He released debut album Umeed in 2009 and followed this with his second album Maktoob. His famous songs include "Bachana", "Tou Kia Hua", "Larho Mujhey", "Taaray", "Dekha Na Tha" and "Mata e Jaan". In 2012, he was been nominated for Best Album at the 11th Lux Style Awards for the album "Umeed". He has also been nominated for Best Solo Artist and Best OST at the Hum TV Awards two years in a row. He was also chosen as the Best Singer by vote on FM 103, most popular radio station in Pakistan, in 2010. He has performed his original compositions on Season 4 and Season 5 of Coke Studio. Khan has sung two songs for two drama serials namely "Mata e Jaan" and "Roshan Sitara". He has also acted in a telefilm for Hum TV called "Tamana ki Tamana". Khan holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Politics and Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
